Tacos de Guisado — Braised Filling Tacos

Tacos de Guisado

A double layer of tortillas cushions a bed of red rice and your choice of saucy guisado — from picadillo to rajas con crema — so the filling stays put instead of soaking through.

Why stack two tortillas per taco?

Doubling the tortillas keeps the taco from tearing under a saucy guisado like picadillo or rajas con crema. The bed of red rice underneath does the rest of the work, absorbing excess sauce so the filling stays put instead of soaking through.
